Passage: 1 Samuel 18:17-30
Series: 1st and 2nd Samuel (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 9 mins 4 secs
How do you handle evil, cranky people filled with mental attitude sins without it affecting you? Listen to this lesson to learn how David suffered from King Saul’s murderous rage and jealousy but learned to trust God. See how the sin cycle can affect us and lead to fear and hatred in our own thinking. Hear several psalms, some written by David, that show how we can trust God when we are afraid and apply them to our own circumstances.

Passage: 1 Samuel 15:23
Series: 1st and 2nd Samuel (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 4 mins 11 secs
Does God ever regret or become sorry for anything? Listen to this lesson to learn that God never changes and when Scripture applies certain figures of speech to God, it is to help us understand His policies. Hear Saul’s rationalizations for disobeying God and how we all have arrogance skills we need to confess. Understand that God prefers obedience from us rather than our sacrifices or going through rituals.
