Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 49 mins 14 secs
"Why can't you be more like your brother?" If you were ever compared to a brother or sister you're going to enjoy hearing this lesson about the childhood of Jesus living with His parents and younger siblings. Find out the way young Jewish boys were raised and what it meant when they reached 12 years of age. See how this explains Jesus' actions in the temple in Jerusalem. Learn about the core sin of the universe related to the angelic conflict and see why it was necessary for Jesus to learn obedience to authority through the unique challenges He faced in His life.

Passage: Matthew 4:1-10
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 50 mins 31 secs
Temptation! Enticing and alluring. It comes at us from every direction. Even Jesus, who is both God and man in one person forever, faced it. Listen to this lesson to see that God's purpose was not to see if Jesus could sin but rather to demonstrate Jesus' Messianic character. Follow the devil's three lines of temptation and learn how Jesus taught us not to rely on miracles but showed all believers to face tests by dependence on God's Word and the Spirit of God.

Passage: Romans 15:8-13
Series: Romans (2010)
Duration: 1 hr 1 mins 10 secs
Do you know any troublemakers? Listen to this lesson to learn what the Apostle Paul has to say about people in the church who cause trouble by holding to false beliefs. Understand that there will be controversies and that some people may have to be excluded but this should be done with gentleness. Follow Paul's use of Old Testament scripture to explain that Christ came into the world to be a servant to Israel. See that His becoming a servant illustrates that the path to greatness is through humility, which is obedience to authority. Notice that Gentiles, too, have reason to praise God for all He has done for them.

Do you love movie previews with their tantalizing teases of what is to come? Listen to this lesson to see how Jesus gave His disciples an alarming view of coming events. Learn that three of these disciples were taken to a high mountain and find out what the Transfiguration is. Gain an overview of the hypostatic union when Christ’s divine nature and humanity were combined in Him. Appreciate what Jesus did for us as you submit to His authority day in and day out.

Passage: 1 Peter 3:1-2 & Philippians 2:5-12
Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 5 mins 58 secs
Is it important for us to assert ourselves so we will be noticed and obtain our rights? Listen to this lesson to learn that the opposite is true. Instead, we are to submit to the authority of God and delegated authorities in order to glorify Him. See that when Jesus Christ submitted to death on the cross for our sins He set an example for us to follow. Learn that being submissive does not mean inferiority. Begin a study of the comparison of marriage with dancing where each partner has clearly defined roles and must work as a team.

Passage: Matthew 26:36-46 & Mark 14:32-42
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 1 hr 54 mins 34 secs

What are the worst problems you have ever suffered in life? No matter how horrendous, none compare with what Christ faced in the Garden of Gethsemane. Listen to this lesson to learn how Jesus prayed during His adversities. Hear about the hypostatic union and how Jesus has two natures in one Person eternally. Learn the answer to the question of whether Jesus had a will of His own in His humanity. Recognize that in order for us to know God’s will we must study God’s Word.

Passage: 1 Peter 3:19-22
Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 5 mins 58 secs

During the Christmas season you may find yourself wondering why it was necessary for God to become a man. Listen to this lesson to gain a better understanding of God’s amazing plan for mankind and the blessings that accompany it. Hear how Satan has tried to disrupt God’s plan and about one demonic attack that took place before the flood in Noah’s day. See that Jesus is our example of how to handle unjust suffering and hear that our prayer should be that we can know the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering.

Dr. Dean mentions his paper from the Pre-Trib Study Group in this message. You can view his presentation in the media link below.
