Galatians 5:16-23 teaches that at any moment we are either walking by the Holy Spirit or according to the sin nature. Walking by the Spirit, enjoying fellowship with God, walking in the light are virtually synonymous. During these times, the Holy Spirit is working in us to illuminate our minds to the truth of Scripture and to challenge us to apply what we learn. But when we sin, we begin to live based on the sin nature. Our works do not count for eternity. The only way to recover is to confess (admit, acknowledge) our sin to God the Father and we are instantly forgiven, cleansed, and recover our spiritual walk (1 John 1:9). Please make sure you are walking by the Spirit before you begin your Bible study, so it will be spiritually profitable.

Passage: Lamentations 3:19-26
Duration: 53 mins 52 secs
Does Israel have a marvelous future as God promised them? Listen to this lesson to learn that God always keeps His promises. Find out how Jeremiah grieved over Israel’s discipline but as He focused on God’s plan, he relaxed in even the midst of the most horrendous circumstances. See what he remembered so he could have confidence. Hear about the rise of antisemitism and a new definition of it. Ask yourself what promises God has given Christians that will be fulfilled.

Passage: Romans 12:2
Duration: 1 hr 13 mins 45 secs
What does it mean to be conformed to the world? Listen to this lesson to learn the meaning of the word “world” so you can avoid becoming pressed into its mold. See how our “old” thinking has to be destroyed so we can learn God’s way of thinking. Find out that Satan’s objective is to eradicate the Jewish people from the face of the earth. Learn what intersectionality means and how it includes all who hate the Torah and the Bible. Hear about ongoing attempts to destroy Israel’s claim to the land. Instead of despairing about the state of the world, see that the only hope for this country is for people to trust in Christ as their Savior.

The article (Is Intersectionality a Religion?) by Andrew Sullivan referenced by Dr. Dean in this class is available here. The video referenced by Mr. Sullivan is linked in the fourth paragraph of the article.

Congressman Jimmy Panetta's video that was shown during class is available here. The pertinent remarks begin around the 20:53 mark.
