Passage: Matthew 16:13-19
Series: God's Plan for the Ages - Dispensations (2014)
Duration: 59 mins 56 secs
Who doesn't love a good mystery but what does it mean when the Apostle Paul calls the Church Age a mystery? Listen to this lesson to learn that he isn't referring to a "whodunit" type mystery. Instead, the mystery was that for thousands of years no one knew about the Dispensation of Grace which would follow Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Get a clear understanding that there was a distinct break with the Age of Israel when the Church Age began, including a new unity of Jews and Gentiles, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in every believer, and the emphasis on being a testimony in the Angelic Conflict.

Armchair travelling, anyone? If you can't visit Israel, then enjoy hearing recent travelers recount their insights into Biblical sites they visited. Then return to the book of Romans for a final wrap-up and hear about the people who sent greetings to the church in Rome. See the many references Paul made to the grace of God. Appreciate the majestic benediction that glorifies God the Father, His magnificent attributes, and all He has done for us.

Passage: Matthew 13:47-52
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 51 mins 12 secs
Why did Jesus say some of His parables were like the kingdom of heaven? Listen to this lesson to see that Jesus is revealing new information that was not a part of the Old Testament prophecies about the kingdom. See that these parables talk about a time when Satan is active so it has to be before Satan is cast into the Abyss. Hear the features of this intervening time between when Jesus ascended to heaven and His future Second Coming. In light of the judgment that Jesus reveals is coming, remember that now is the time to prepare by trusting Christ as your Savior and then growing spiritually to be prepared to rule and reign with Christ in His kingdom.
