Listen to this lesson to learn that the book of Acts tells of a gradual transition that was being made from the Mosaic Law to the Church Age. See how the Apostle Paul in his exhausted state was given three personal promises by God. Find out about Paul's vow and possible reasons why he shaved his head.

Passage: Matthew 7:21-23

Duration: 56 mins 24 secs
Hey, don't miss out on eternal rewards. Sure, it's great to know you've accepted Christ as your Savior and are on your way to heaven but remember, salvation is free but rewards are earned. Listen to this lesson to learn that after salvation our life should be built on obedience to God's Word and practicing the spiritual skills in order to experience the fullness of blessing in the Millennial Kingdom. See the distinction between the judging of Church Age believers and Old Testament believers. Accept we all have daily choices to make whether we're going to live for ourselves or going to live for the Lord.

Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 10 mins 26 secs
Are you ready to think about something that can change your life? Find out that there are nine judgments mentioned in the Bible and that Jesus Christ, who became a man and lived on earth, will be the judge. See what takes place at the Bema Seat of Christ and learn that this judgment is for believers only to determine their rewards. Find out that the issue at the Judgment Seat of Christ is how faithful a believer was. Accept the challenge of living each day in the light of eternity so you will receive the promised rewards.

Passage: 1 Peter 4:5-6 & 1 Corinthians 3:12-15
Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 8 mins 35 secs

What does it mean when the Bible says that everyone must give an account of themselves to God? Listen to this lesson to see that every person born into this world will face an evaluation by God. For the believer this is called the Judgment Seat of Christ where we will be evaluated in order to determine our rewards and responsibilities. For the unbeliever, there is the Great White Throne of God. Hear what aspects of a person’s life will be judged there to see whether or not they are qualified to live with God forever. Hear about the Lamb’s Book of Life and the Book of Works. Understand that sinful man cannot perform righteous deeds. Realize that the Lake of Fire is a reality. When talking to unbelievers help them to see that sin is no longer an issue since Christ cancelled the sin debt on the Cross but the focus is on belief in Christ.

This lesson also includes Revelation 20:11–15.

Be challenged to walk by means of the Holy Spirit in your daily life so you will receive eternal rewards.

Passage: 2 Corinthians 5:10 & 1 Corinthians 3:10-15
Series: Dr. Dean One-Lesson Specials
Duration: 1 hr 22 mins 6 secs

This message is a recorded Zoom meeting. Dr. Dean was invited to speak to the Hephzibah Apologetics group in Oxford, England on 9-11-2020. Due to the pandemic, the meeting was conducted via Zoom. The topic is what the Bible teaches about the "Overcomer."

Is every believer an Overcomer? Listen to this message to learn what an Overcomer is and who qualifies for that title. Find out that after the Rapture all believers will be evaluated at the Bema or Judgment Seat of Christ. See that the purpose of this is to find out what the believer has accomplished that is rewardable and not to expose sins, which have been forgiven by Christ’s death on the Cross. Hear a number of Scriptures applying to this and the contrast between victorious believers and other believers. As you listen to this, ask yourself if you are maturing spiritually and becoming an Overcomer.

Note that Dr. Dean has done a more in-depth study of “Overcomers” in his Philippians series, lessons #11–16.
