by Robert Dean
Passage: Revelation 3:4-6
Series: Revelation (2004)
Duration: 1 hr 4 mins 42 secs

Are all believers overcomers or is that title reserved only for those who meet certain qualifications? Listen to this lesson to learn what an overcomer is and see it involves what decisions we make after we are saved. Find out there are two classes of believers and only those who advance in the spiritual life will receive rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Accept the challenge in your own life of sticking with learning God’s Word and walking by means of the Holy Spirit so you can become an overcomer.

Note that Dr. Dean has done a more in-depth study of “Overcomers” in his Philippians series, lessons #11–16.

Duration: 1 hr 4 mins 14 secs
Demons! Fortune tellers! Witches! Are they real or just something in scary movies, TV shows, and books? Listen to this lesson in Acts to learn how the Bible describes a very real spirit world and God's warning against the occult. Find out how worshiping anything in creation rather than the Creator opens us to demonic thoughts and influences. Discover God's assurances that He is in control and we have nothing to fear.

Passage: Romans 15:8-13
Series: Romans (2010)
Duration: 1 hr 1 mins 10 secs
Do you know any troublemakers? Listen to this lesson to learn what the Apostle Paul has to say about people in the church who cause trouble by holding to false beliefs. Understand that there will be controversies and that some people may have to be excluded but this should be done with gentleness. Follow Paul's use of Old Testament scripture to explain that Christ came into the world to be a servant to Israel. See that His becoming a servant illustrates that the path to greatness is through humility, which is obedience to authority. Notice that Gentiles, too, have reason to praise God for all He has done for them.

Does the Holy Spirit lead and guide believers as they make their decisions? Listen to this lesson to learn that the Word of God should be the source of all decision making for believers and see what part the Holy Spirit plays in this. Find out that believers have the option of either living as unbelievers in the their sin natures or of walking by means of the Holy Spirit. See that when we follow the Holy Spirit we are led to spiritual maturity and a life of peace and happiness.
