Galatians 5:16-23 teaches that at any moment we are either walking by the Holy Spirit or according to the sin nature. Walking by the Spirit, enjoying fellowship with God, walking in the light are virtually synonymous. During these times, the Holy Spirit is working in us to illuminate our minds to the truth of Scripture and to challenge us to apply what we learn. But when we sin, we begin to live based on the sin nature. Our works do not count for eternity. The only way to recover is to confess (admit, acknowledge) our sin to God the Father and we are instantly forgiven, cleansed, and recover our spiritual walk (1 John 1:9). Please make sure you are walking by the Spirit before you begin your Bible study, so it will be spiritually profitable.

Series: 1st and 2nd Samuel (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 11 mins 55 secs
That’s not fair! Everyone is outraged at times over the unfairness they see all around them. Listen to this lesson to learn that we live in a fallen world and that life is not fair. Find out that the Bible defines perfect justice and promises a time when there will be a ruler, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring justice to all. Until then, we need to accept that no group can bring justice by marching and demanding it. See that as believers we must be conformed in our thinking to God’s plan for our lives by studying the Word of God and walking by means of the Spirit.

Are you sweating the small stuff these days? Worrying about job security or what’s happening to our country? His plan included sending a Savior, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who was prophesied about in the Old Testament. Hear one such prophecy in Psalm 110. See that verse 4 is the centerpiece of the Psalm and that that in verse 1 there is a different Hebrew word used for the first “Lord” and the second.
