Galatians 5:16-23 teaches that at any moment we are either walking by the Holy Spirit or according to the sin nature. Walking by the Spirit, enjoying fellowship with God, walking in the light are virtually synonymous. During these times, the Holy Spirit is working in us to illuminate our minds to the truth of Scripture and to challenge us to apply what we learn. But when we sin, we begin to live based on the sin nature. Our works do not count for eternity. The only way to recover is to confess (admit, acknowledge) our sin to God the Father and we are instantly forgiven, cleansed, and recover our spiritual walk (1 John 1:9). Please make sure you are walking by the Spirit before you begin your Bible study, so it will be spiritually profitable.

Duration: 1 hr 15 mins 12 secs
Do infants who die go to Heaven? Listen to this lesson to learn about David’s grief when his newborn son was near death. Hear about the confidence he expressed when told of the baby’s death, that he would see the child again after his own death. Contrast that with his reactions when others who were adults died. Learn whether young children whose parents are raptured are also raptured. Rely on the character of God to answer questions you have in this area.

Have you ever wondered where people go after they die? Listen to this lesson to learn that the Bible teaches that there are several aspects to this. First, it describes where people went before Christ’s death on the Cross, what changed at Christ’s death, and where they go now. Learn the differences between Sheol, Tartarus, and Hades. Understand that believers who die now go to be face-to-face with the Lord in Heaven while unbelievers are sent to await the Great White Throne Judgment. Find out what Scripture teaches about what happens to babies who die.

During this message Dr. Dean mentioned a book by Robert Lightner, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus: God's Provision for the Death of Those Who Cannot Believe".
